I also hold a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Public Health and am currently pursuing a Masters degree in Public Health through SUNY University at Albany. I specialize in maternal, infant and child nutrition. I've worked with countless families over the years through my work as nutritionist for the Women, Infants and Children's program at Staten Island University Hospital.  I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with extensive training and experience in breastfeeding counseling and support. I'm trained by Debra Pascali-Bonaro as a birth and postpartum doula. Debra is a wonderful educator and mentor. When I look back on my birth story I would have liked to have the support that I now know is available. Nevertheless, with the support of my W.I.C colleagues I was able to nurse my daughter well into her toddler years. I want all women to know that love and support is out there and my mission is to get that message out.
